An Israel Border Police officer is in in serious after being stabbed Sunday at Damascus Gate, outside the Old City in Jerusalem, Israel Police reported.
The terrorist was shot at the scene and is also in serious condition.
Paramedics provided treatment to the injured at the scene and police investigating the situation.

The incident comes after a Palestinian terrorist shot two Israelis, killing one and moderately wounding the second, on Friday afternoon near Dolev, some six kilometers west of Ramallah.
