Israel and Saudi Arabia: An Unlikely Union?

While Iran has launched a “charm offensive” in an attempt to restore contacts with the West, Israel and Saudi Arabia, who don’t have diplomatic relations, are rumored to be creating an alliance, which may well become the region’s new “super power”.

The Saudi-led bombing is opposed by Iran, which is accused of backing the Yemeni rebels. The US, meanwhile, is helping the Saudi campaign – while also seeking to strike a compromise with Tehran over its nuclear program.
