Israeli Toddler In Los Angeles Attacked By Coyote, Lightly Injured

NEW YORK (VINnews) — In a terrifying attack which occurred Friday afternoon at the house of an Israeli living in Los Angeles, a coyote attacked his young daughter and attempted to drag her away. The man, an Israeli named Ariel Eliyahu, succeeded in scaring off the coyote, which had bitten his daughter in the incident.

The incident occurred as the man was exiting his car in the Woodland Hills residence. The little girl was rushed to hospital and received treatment for her injuries as well as a rabies shot. She is now home and recovering from her ordeal.

Eliyahu said that “I heard her screaming and crying and thought that she had fallen, and then I saw the coyote there.”

Eliyahu’s wife Shira said that “I saw her pants covered in blood, so I took them off and saw the scratches all over her legs.”
