Dozens of Ultra-Orthodox protesters blocked a main thoroughfare and threw rocks and eggs at law enforcement officers as demonstrations against the military draft turned violent on Tuesday. Three policemen were injured, and thirty four protesters were detained.

Over the past few days, dozens of Ultra-Orthodox protestors have been arrested both in Jerusalem and in Bnei Brak in protests against conscription.
