Lieberman Bashes Chareidim Again

June 30, 2019 5:30 pm

The chairman of the Yisrael Beitenu party, MK Avigdor Lieberman, is at it again; continuing his public chareidi-bashing. This time, on Sunday morning, Lieberman explained that while the government is cutting funding for healthcare services, it is giving funds to the chareidi tzibur, including NIS 120 million “to commemorate rabbonim”.

In his latest attack against the chareidi tzibur, Lieberman used his Facebook page to inform his followers that “Less than a week after a NIS 1.2 billion widespread cut in government funding was approved, including from healthcare, defense, public security and welfare services, Netanyahu sees fit to grant a NIS 2 million bonus for chareidi education so the total amount to he allocated to the chareidim by the “halacha government he heads amounts to over NIS 450 million”.

Lieberman added, “While NIS 120 million is allocated to the Ministry of Religious Services, among other things, funds are being used to commemorate rabbonim. They cut NIS 100 million in wages of police, prison guards and firemen – seeing is not believing.

“Only a national emergency coalition government, which would be assembled including Yisrael Beitenu, Likud and Blue and White would change the order of priorities and save the State of Israel from the government of halacha and acquiescing budgets to the chareidim”.
