Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy To Host  First Matzo Ball Run at Kenneth Hahn State Park

Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy, www.hillelhebrew.org, will host its first-ever Matzo Ball 5K Run, promoting health and wellness for the school and the greater Los Angeles community. Students, parents, teachers and administration have been training with the physical education coaches and are ready to reach for Matzo Ball glory on April 10 at Kenneth Hahn State Park! Hillel is a Mommy & Me through eighth grade school that has been serving hundreds of students since 1948.

The race is open to the public and all are encouraged to pre-register at a discount online at www.matzoballrun.com. The Matzo Ball 5K Run will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. with a Kids 1K Fun Run beginning at 9:00 a.m. There will be obstacle courses, face painting and various kid-friendly fitness activities for children of all ages. Hundreds of people are expected to join in this fabulous day of fun and fitness. Please join us at Kenneth Hahn State Park, a 308-acre park featuring a scenic running course apropos for both the serious and novice runner, breathtaking views of Los Angeles, Japanese gardens and rolling landscape.
