Police forces shut down two drug operations in northern Israel, which were engaged in illegally growing, distributing and selling marijuana in the form of Hashish and ‘Nice Guy’ for smoking.

In the northern Arab town of Kfar Manda, police searched the home of a resident suspected of drug trafficking. The suspect threw a large package of drugs from his rooftop, which was caught by another police officer.

The suspect was arrested for running a drug distribution network, and for the possession of Hashish and Nice Guy.

In another incident, police uncovered a lab set up in a residential apartment in Nof Galil, known until recently as Nazareth Illit. The lab contained 230 marijuana plants and extensive equipment used for growing them successfully.

After further investigation, police decided to indict both suspects and requested they be remanded.

Two weeks ago, Amos Dov Silver, Israeli founder of the massive drug distribution network Telegrass, was extradited to Israel from Ukraine.

“Israel Police will continue to act on all fronts, using all the tools at its disposal to thwart the creation and distribution of dangerous drugs,” a police spokesperson stated.
