July 31, 2018 12:30 pm

Strauss announces to consumers a recall of Humus ‘Achla’ in 650 gram containers.

As part of the routine quality checks conducted by Strauss in the salad factory, the result of a test that raises concern for salmonella was received in one production batch.

A small quantity of products from the dish were sent by mistake to a number of points of sale. Strauss says anyone who has purchased hummus 650 gram package with barcode: 7290107940030, with the ‘last date of use’ being September 6.9.18, not to use the product.

For inquiries, please contact Strauss’s consumer service at 1800-777-777 or through the consumer service on the company’s website.

It is important to note that all other Achla products have been tested and found to be perfectly suitable for consumption.
