LAPD Lists Areas to Avoid During Obama Visit June 18-19

 

 

 

Expect traffic delays and congestion during your commutes ThursdayFriday, June 18-19, as President Barack Obama attends events in Los Angeles.

 

The president will arrive Thursday afternoon and will attend events through Friday morning. The Los Angeles Police Department issued a list of areas to avoid because of Obama’s visit. Most are on the west side of Los Angeles, but some roads will close or otherwise be affected Fridaymorning in northeast Los Angeles and near the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

 

Merv Griffin Way between Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills will be closed from Thursday at 2 p.m. to Friday atnoon.

 

The following areas should be avoided between 1-6 p.m. Thursday:
