Triple Blessing for Family After Tragedy

Reuven Yehoshua and Devorah Ginzburg of Beitar Illit, Israel, who tragically lost 2 children in a fire, welcomed newborn triplets Wednesday.

Reuven Yehoshua and Devorah Ginzburg of Beitar Illit, Israel welcomed newborn triplets, two girls and a boy, on Wednesday, bringing some measure of joy to the family which had recently endured horrific tragedy.

In early October 2018, the family’s 5-year-old Efrat and 2-year-old Zvi were tragically killed after a fire broke out in their home.

The newborns’ grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo Ginzburg, told Kikar Hashabbat: “We really feel like there was ‘judgment and mercy,’ there was judgment and that judgment was completely wrapped in mercy. G-d is always with us.”

“During the shiva week of mourning one yeshiva dean promised that G-d would repay them double,” the grandfather said.

The family had just returned to their home just before Pesach.

The father, Reuven Yehoshua Ginzberg, spoke at the Sharei Tzedek Hospital where his wife gave birth, thanking Hashem for the blessings of comfort they received today.
