Gaza-based terrorists on Saturday night launched a rocket at Israel. Air raid sirens blared in several communities in the area surrounding the Strip. The rocket exploded in an open space, causing no injuries or damage.

In response, the Israel Air Forces (IAF) bombed several military targets in a Hamas compound in northern Gaza and destroyed two Hamas naval vessels.

Wafa, the official Palestinian Authority (PA) news agency, reported that the strikes caused damage but no casualties.

A similar rocket attack occurred on Friday night, and in response, IAF fighter jets and aircraft struck several Hamas targets and underground structures in Gaza.

The IDF stated on Saturday night that the air strikes were carried “following the terror attacks from the Gaza Strip, including the use of balloons and attempts to damage security infrastructures in the past few days.”

“The Hamas terrorist organization bears responsibility for everything that is happening in and out of the Gaza Strip,” the IDF underscored.

The terrorists in Gaza have increased their attacks on the Israeli communities surrounding the Strip in recent days, prompting the IDF to attack Hamas targets in response. These exchanges of blows have become an almost every day occurrence.
