Three Soldiers Hurt, Terrorist Shot Dead in Gush Etzion Car Ramming

Three soldiers suffered light to moderate injuries when a Palestinian rammed an IDF patrol with his car between Gush Etzion and Hebron at around 12:15 Monday, an military spokesman said. One of the soldiers shot the terrorist and neutralized him.
United Hatzalah ambulance service volunteer Ashi Glazer said: “Together with IDF medical teams I treated one patient who was in moderate condition and two others in light to moderate conditions. The driver of the car was shot after ramming the pedestrians and his death was pronounced at the scene.”
13:29 Visiting the scene of the attack, Gush Etzion Regional Council Shlomo Neeman said: “We are situated on Route 60, a major traffic arrtery which thousands of Israelis travel on every day. This is a serious terrorist attack – another in a series of attacks against Israelis.
We demand that the government and the security forces restore security to the residents of the region. We of course commend the IDF soldiers working day and night for the security of the residents and the region. We are here and we will be strong and develop the settlements in Gush Etzion and our enemies will not stop us.”
