Israel Discovers 4,000 Terrorist Dolls Designed to Incite Palestinian Children

Haifa (TPS) – Customs office employees in the Haifa Port have prevented a smuggling attempt that entailed about 4,000 dolls depicting Palestinian stone throwers, which were apparently imported for the use of incitement against Israel.

The dolls were seized on Tuesday, December 8. They bear the colors of the Palestinian flag and feature captions in Arabic such as “Jerusalem is ours” and “Jerusalem, we are coming”. Their faces are masked, and a stone is held in their hand.

Palestinian youth have been regularly throwing rocks at Israeli targets such as cars, busses and people, causing many Israeli casualties during the recent wave of terror attacks.

“These dolls were on the way to the Palestinian territories for one clear goal, which is poisoning the minds of little innocent children,” said Tzipi Hotovely, Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister. “The Palestinians are continuing to educate their children upon hate and violence by all means possible, in this case by using dolls.”

“The world must realize that as long as there isn’t a dramatical change in the Palestinian education system, and in the Palestinian leadership’s narrative which spreads nothing but fear and hate, we can’t have any dialogue with our neighbors,” she added.

The dolls were found inside shipping containers imported from the United Arab Emirates in the Persian Gulf that were sent to the Palestinian Territories. After the containers were unloaded, they were taken for a routine X-ray screening during which many undeclared goods were discovered, including the ‘incitement dolls’.

“Customs office is continuing its daily job in the prevention of smuggling to Israel, especially of weapons and of incitement material and particularly during these days,” said Kobi Yahav, director of the customs office in Haifa.

The containers also carried undeclared goods such as light bulbs, military shoe uppers and more. The importer however, declared the containers as only carrying clothings, carpets and plastic products.

The dolls were subsequently impounded and are being held by the customs office in Haifa until the end of the investigation.

Hotovely instructed the Foreign Ministry to file a complaint on the issue to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

In related news, a 56-year-old tourist was hit in the head by a rock thrown by a 16-year-old Arab near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem on Tuesday, December 8.
