Residents across Israel experienced a minor earthquake on Wednesday night shortly before 8 PM.
The quake, which lasted for a few seconds, registered as 4.4 on the Richter scale.
Areas including Jerusalem, Gush Etzion, Beer Sheva, Lod, Tel Aviv, Petach Tikva, Haifa, and Kiryat Gat felt the shaking the strongest.
The earthquake’s epicenter was in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, causing residents in Cyprus, Jordan and Egypt to also feel the tremor, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) tweeted.
