Personal Testimony by Holocaust Survivor Marta Wise
Marta Wise (81), who survived the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp as a child, immigrated to Israel from Australia 18 years ago, and now lives in Jerusalem. She shared her personal account from the holocaust, and spoke about the importance of keeping the memory of the holocaust alive and the growing number of Antisemitic attacks in Europe: “Today the whole world is aflame and another holocaust can happen again, G-d forbid, if the free world does not listen and take seriously the threats against it from racist and anti-Semitic Jew haters,” Ms. Wise warned. “People often ask where was God during the holocaust. My question is where was man?”
