PM Netanyahu Holds Tour of Tower of David Museum for Israel’s 3,000,000th Tourist

Ioana Isac from Romania, and her partner, Mihai Georgescureceived a royal greeting from the moment they got off the plane at the Ben-Gurion International Airport.

The reason: She was the 3,000,000th documented tourist to visit Israel within a year, a record number according to the government.

The couple was personally greeted by Tourism Minister Yariv Levin, who held a festive ceremony for them at the airport.

When they arrived at the Tower of David in the Old City of Jerusalem, the Minister told them that the tour guide wasn’t able to make it and that they brought a ‘fill in’.

The person was none other than Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
