The IDF Spokesperson has confirmed that Israeli aircraft have attacked and destroyed two Hamas targets, in response to the launching of a rocket from Gaza Wednesday evening. The rocket landed in an open field in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council. No damage was caused. No Iron Dome interceptor was launched, as the radar had determined the rocket would not fall in a built up area.

“We continue to hold Hamas responsible for any act of aggression launched against Israel from Gaza, and will respond forcefully every time such an attack occurs,” the spokesperson said.
