Bentzi Stein, a musically talented Yeshiva bochur, is the composer behind a new ballad titled “Aba” that was released in time for the holiday of Shavuos.

Stein, 20, says the words were inspired by his studies in Yeshiva and the teaching that Hashem, creator of the world, is seen both as a monarch and a merciful father.

“At the end of the day, the one who loves you is also the one who runs the world and that thought has provided me with a strength that always stays with me,” Stein says.

After composing the song, Stein presented it to the up and coming singer Ari Hill. Stein says he heard it sung and felt it would sound even better as a duet. The candidate: the reigning star of Jewish music, Avraham Fried.

Fried agrees to his delight and sang the song together with Hill, blending his iconic and heartfelt voice with the younger sound of a new voice in the music scene.

Responsible for arrangements and mixing were Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry, while the Vocal Engineer was Yossi Tyberg.
