Israeli Chief Rabbi Harav David Lau visited a number of IDF bases in the south Monday afternoon ahead of the army’s planned military operation in Gaza, encouraging them and praying for their safety.
“Today I met the dedicated soldiers who came from all segments of the Israeli spectrum in wonderful unity,” Rabbi Lau said. People who left their families, their livelihoods without thinking twice and came here for the people of Israel. In the z’chus of faith in G-d, the steadfast spirit, and faith in the righteousness of the path I saw here, I am sure that G-d will subdue our enemies and help them restore peace and tranquility to the cities of Israel.”
