June 9, 2014 Beverly Hills, CA- Darko Los Angeles announced today that they will be hiring esteemed and  internationally renowned educator Mrs. Ruth Luckoff as Director of Montessori Education. Luckoff will begin teaching at Darko during the 2014-2015 school year.  School Founder and Director Shimon Shain had this to say about the new hire, “We are extremely fortunate to have Mrs. Luckoff join our team of cutting edge educators. Mrs. Luckoff comes to us with 31 years of teaching experience and a focus on Montessori education. She has studied internationally and is a great addition to our school family.”

Ruth Luckoff is the former Assistant Director of the Montessori Learning Center in Culver City, CA as well as a premier educator from the New World Montessori School in Los Angeles, CA. She has 31 years teaching experience, and a curriculum vitae including work in Houston, Texas and abroad in Manila, Philippines. Mrs. Luckoff’s expertise includes Montessori based curriculum development and staff education as well as individualized students screenings and assessments. Mrs. Luckoff holds a BS in Elementary Education from Arellano University, a Master’s in Education from The Markina Institute of Science and Technology, an Early Childhood Montessori Education accreditation and an Elementary Education Diploma from St. Paul Educational Center in addition to her Lower Elementary Montessori Education Accreditation from the North American Center.
