Hatzolah EMTs respond to overturned vehicle in under 20-90 seconds

On July 31st, at approximately 2:00 PM, Hatzolah dispatch received a request for aid, for an overturned vehicle on the corner of La Brea and Rosewood, in Los Angeles. The first Hatzolah EMT was on scene in 20 seconds and within 90 seconds 3 Hatzolah EMTs were on scene assisting and preventing further injury. There was one trapped victim, and approximately 20 civilians surrounding the accident trying to help that victim, however, in doing so they put themselves in danger since the vehicle was not stable. Hatzolah immediately acted by rendering treatment to the trapped patient and handled the scene by coordinating traffic. The main emphasis was protecting the scene and maintaining traffic control in order to prevent any further accident or damage. When the LAFD arrived 9 minutes later, Hatzolah members coordinated care with them. The FD used the Jaws of life to extricate the victim and continued to provide care and transport.
