IAF fighter planes and helicopters, together with IDF tanks have attacked some 40 targets in the Gaza Strip since December 7, the military said Monday in a statement.
The army said the targets included observation towers, military installations, ammunition warehouses and factories.
In addition, military investigators presented Gen. Eyal Zamir, the head of the IDF Southern Command, with their findings regarding the death of Ibrahim Abu-Turia, a Gaza man who was killed during skirmishes on the Israel-Gaza border on Friday. The report said Abu-Turia was killed during a violent interchange involving thousands of Gazan’s and IDF troops, in addition to other flashpoints along the length of the Strip.
“Our initial investigation did not show any ethical or professional failing on the part of the troops,” the report said.
