Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein called Muki “a champion” and that “it is a great feeling to hear our national anthem…played for the first time in Abu Dhabi.”

“We salute you,” Edelstein said, “you brought a great honor to the state of Israel.”

AJC Assistant Executive Director Avi Mayer wrote on twitter that the win is “a glimmer of joy amidst today’s gloom.”
