A selfie-seeking lady tried to take a photo with a jaguar by breaching the big cat’s enclosure at an Arizona zoo — and got her arm mauled in the process.

Rural Metro Fire officials said the woman, in her 30s, was trying to take a photo of herself near the fence of the jaguar enclosure at the Wildlife World Zoo in Maricopa County on Saturday evening when the animal swiped at her arm, local outlets reported.

Video of the aftermath shows the woman with a deep gash in her arm writhing on the ground and moaning in pain.

The man who shot the video, Adam Wilkerson, told AZFamily his mother distracted the beast with a water bottle and he was able to pull the woman away.

Witnesses told zoo officials the woman had “crossed over the barrier” to get her picture.

“Please understand why barriers are put in place. Sending prayers to the family tonight,” the zoo tweeted.

This is the second time the 4- to 5-year-old female jaguar has swiped at someone who crossed the barrier, Wildlife World Zoo Director Mickey Ollson told ABC15.

Ollson said it “was not the animal’s fault” and they won’t euthanize the wild cat.
