The Council of Heads of All Religions in Israel convened in Jerusalem to decry violence against women and sign a petition declaring war on it.
Minister Gila Gamliel, a spiritual leader from the Druze Community, Dr. Iyad Zahalka, Director of the Sharia courts, and Rabbi Eliezer Simcha Weiss, a member of the Chief Rabbinate Council, were some of the participants at the event.

All religious leaders signed a declaration in which they committed themselves to honor women and their communities and work for their safety.
