Jewish Community Welcomes New Police Chief

Motty & Ruchel Herzog hosted a community leadership luncheon to welcome and  congratulate the newly appointed Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, Michel Moore.

The Frum/Orthodox Community worked diligently to support his appointment to this post and the Chief was highly appreciative of these efforts.  Chief Michel R. Moore is a 36-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department.  He worked throughout the city and valley areas of Los Angeles as a member of the LAPD and is exceptionally qualified for the position.  Chief Moore is especially knowledgeable of the unique requirements and understands the  needs of the Frum/Orthodox Community.

Various issues of Community interest were discussed at the luncheon which was held at Shefa Restaurant on Melrose Avenue.
