Patriots Honor Ezra Schwartz With Moment of Silence

On Monday night, the New England Patriots honored a young fan who was tragically killed Thursday in a Palestinian terror attack while studying abroad in Israel.

Ezra Schwartz, 18, was a Massachusetts native and an avid Patriots fan. His hometown of Sharon, Mass., borders Foxborough, which is of course where Gillette Stadium is located — and the site of Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who is Jewish, received a letter from Dov Lipman, a former member Israel’s parliament, requesting that Schwartz be honored by the team he grew up supporting.
