Official Music Video by NACHAS performing Badaboom

Badaboom is fresh, explosive and a first in Jewish Music. NACHAS’ vision is to bring Jewish Music into a new era, an era where our youth especially, are excited about kosher entertainment in a world offering so many exciting and detrimental alternatives at the tip of the finger. Backed by leading Rabbanim, this song opens a door to the future of Jewish Music.

“People are looking for something new, something different and exciting”, says NACHAS, “If we can update the beat and style, infuse it with a positive Torah message that everyone can understand and relate to, while entertaining them, elevating them and bringing Simcha, that is Jewish Music”.

“No matter who we are or what category of Judaism we fall into, be it Litvish, Sepahrdic, Chassidic, Chabbad, Israeli, affiliated, unaffiliated etc, we are all one nation, we are all Jews, we need unity, and we all need Mashiach to come.

“It is my hope that this song will help bring us all closer together. Once we realize that we are all brothers, Mashiach will surely come and Hashem will reveal his glory to the entire world. In a Badaboom! he will finally end this Galus”

Lyrics:
It started with Na Na Nase Venishma,
Now from far away Koyli El Hashem Ekra,
Hold on come on you know we gotta hold on,

Put your hands up in the air,
Call out to Shamayim show that you care,
Hold on come on you know we gotta hold on

Chorus: BadaBoom

Ani Ma’min B’emuna Shelaymu
BadaBoom I believe Ve’af al pi sheyesmamayu,
So hold on come on you know we gotta hold on,

Chorus: BadaBoom

Ok attention everybody speakers up,
I’ve got something for you listen up,
Mashiachs coming he’s on his way,
Coast to coast we’ll all be saved,
But it’s hard for him to come here for us,
Jews still not listening to Torah,
We gotta get the kids to realize,
Eitz Chaim He,
This is true life,
Now I’m singing from a soul that’s pure,
Come hear what I’ve got in store,
I got a vision to share with you all,
G-D is our father for NACHAS he calls,

We might get shut down yes,
We might get turned off yes,
Will we get up uh yes,
It’s you we wanna impress,
We feel redemption coming,
We feel it everyday,
Ye we beg and we pray and we say,
Please can you bring it today,
After darkness will be light,
Every fight we will survive,
We are G-d’s sun that now is set but will forever rise.

Israeli Technology Helps Secure Statue of Liberty

0

MODI’IN, ISRAEL – An Israeli company was chosen to be part of a nine-member team of technology vendors in a digital security system project for the Statue of Liberty National Monument in New York Harbor.

Assembled by Total Recall Corporation, a video-centric security technology provider specializing in surveillance solutions, the company put together a “dream team” which has top technology to enhance public safety and operation efficiency at America’s well known monument.

BriefCam was selected for its award-winning Video Synopsis technology that summarizes hours of events into a “brief” that takes just minutes to watch including direct video feed or archived footage. The Israeli company, headquartered in Modi’in, Israel, has projects in several cities in North America, China and Taiwan, a company representative told Tazpit News Agency. “We are being used by law enforcement and investigative agencies in the US, China and of course, Israel.”

The current surveillance deployment marks the first time an all-digital surveillance system has been installed at the Statue of Liberty monument, which previously had implemented an old analog system that had been unable to reach certain areas of Liberty Island.

Following the heavy damage caused by deadly Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the Statue of Liberty underwent eight months of renovation and repairs. The monument reopened to the public on Independence Day, June 4, 2013.

“The National Park Service and Statue of Liberty National Monument greatly appreciate the comprehensive security system donated by Total Recall,” Capt. Gregory Norman, Commander of Liberty District, U.S. Park Police said.

“The lack of electricity, flooding and damage caused by Sandy could not stop the amazing team from making sure that Lady Liberty could welcome visitors – as she always has,” said Jordan Heilweil, president of Total Recall Corporation.

“We assembled a Dream Team of cutting-edge security technology providers to give her the best protection possible while helping the Park Police, Department of the Interior and National Park Service deliver a memorable experience for the millions of families who visit the Statue each year,” added Heilweil.

Dror Irani, CEO and President of BriefCam further added that “for over a hundred years, as people arrived at Ellis Island from every part the world, they would see the Statue of Liberty and feel they had reached a safe haven in the USA. Today, we’re extremely proud to be part of the team bringing 21st century safety and security technology to this long-standing symbol of hope and freedom.”

The Statue of Liberty was a gift of friendship to the United States from the people of France and was dedicated in October 1886. The robed female figure, holding a torch and tablet, represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom. Approximately four million people visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island each year according to the National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy.

YESHIVA AHARON YAAKOV/OHR ELIYAHU BOYS’ CHOIR VISITS GARDEN OF PALMS

0

The Yeshiva Aharon Yaakov/ Ohr Eliyahu (YAYOE) Boys’ Choir performed at the Garden of Palms Jewish home for the aged on March 11, just before Purim.  This was not only a performance of music but also of Chesed for after boys sang their six songs they distributed Hamantashen and spoke to the members of the audience establishing a special connection between our younger and our older generations.

The twenty-six member choir is directed by Rabbi Yitzchak Golbart who rehearses the choir during the after school as part of the Enrichment Program.  Rabbi Golbart said the parents are so happy that their sons have the opportunity to bring choral music experiences into their lives and to be able to share their gifts with the community. One parent said watching the boys and the relationship between them and the audience brought her to tears.  A woman there who has both parents living at the Garden of Palms said she wished this could be done each week because it was so good for her them; it was a very meaningful morning.

Rabbi Goldberg, the Menahel of YAYOE, offered a wonderful introduction of the Choir and a powerful drash about Purim and music.  In preparation for the Rabbi Goldberg encouraged the boys to speak to the residents and ask about them. One could see in the sparkling eyes of each of the residents who attended the performance and spoke to the boys.

Thanks go to Mrs. Shelly Fenig who provided the individually wrapped Hamantashen, to all of the parents who transported and chaperoned the boys and to the staff of the Garden of Palms;  all made the event possible and successful.

VIDEO: A Fresh New Face & Sound In Jewish Music. Moshe Laufer Presents: David Simcha

0
Moshe Laufer is the producer of the debut album of David Simcha – the newest French discovery. The two, paired with a staff of dedicated engineers and musicians, put in much effort during the past months to produce the next “album of the year.”
In contrast with other productions that try to blend a taste of the past with our modern day technology, this project manages to make the two musical genres coexist while remaining attached to its nostalgic touch that moves us so much, and still keeping the same style of today.
The new album will feature 11 exciting songs, which were written and composed by Moshe Laufer, Eli Laufer, Yitzy Waldner, Pinky Weber, Ariel Klikstein, Dovid Simcha and Levik Touboul.
Arrangements were written by Moshe Laufer. Choirs arranged by Eli Laufer, Shmuel Yonah oversaw the recordings in Israel, and Eli Lishinsky – top USA sound technician- did the mixing.

Album now in store distributed by Nigun and online on davidsimcha.com
