Business reality TV show “Shark Tank” updates viewers on what happened to Rabbi Moshe Weiss since he struck a deal.

The enthusiastic rabbi-turned-entrepreneur Moshe Weiss was seen once again on the ABC business reality television series “Shark Tank.”

Weiss, creator of the Sound Bender accessory that amplifies sound on the iPad, was featured as a success story following the deal he struck on the show.

Proudly sporting a yarmulka and beard, he is seen entering the offices of the FUBU Collection to meet its owner and his business partner Daymond John.

“Who would have thought that a rabbi from St. Paul, Minnesota, would be flying down to New York City for a sales meeting with Daymond John,” Weiss said in the new episode.

John, a fashion mogul, purchased 40% of the Sound Bender business for a $54,000 investment after Weiss first came to the show in March 2013 to seek a partnership, as reported on COLlive.com.

Sales have risen ever since, says Weiss, a Lubavitcher chossid who works as a school teacher. “Before Shark Tank sales were at $7,000. Post Shark Tank we’re nearing $250,000.”

But John wants more. “Licensing is an amazing opportunity for Sound Bender,” he said. “You get a large company to basically do all the work for you, manufacturing it, bill it, ship it – you get a check.”

John and Weiss, the unlikely partners, head out to Montclair, New Jersey to meet Scott Bachrach, President of The Wish Factory, a product development, marketing and management company.

Bachrach suggests placing a comic action hero character on the Sound Bender and promises to sell $2 million worth of accessories a year and another deal is struck.
