Safe travels: Rabbi Yitzi Hurwitz, who is battling ALS, is traveling from Los Angeles to New York today on a private plane with a fully equipped medical center.

Shliach Rabbi Yitzi Hurwitz, who is battling ALS, is traveling to New York today from his home in Los Angeles to celebrate his son’s Bar Mitzvah.
Rabbi Yitzi will spend a week in New York, and will visit the Rebbe’s Ohel gravesite in Queens, and will celebrate his youngest son’s Bar Mitzvah with family and friends.
Rabbi Yitzi is traveling on Hatzolah Air, a private plane with a fully equipped medical center.
Accompanying him is a team of medical professionals which assists patients and families with urgent and emergency transports.
Rabbi Yitzi is grateful to the many individuals who made this trip happen.
“This is a big undertaking for my wife, family, friends, and the Hurwitz family fund,” he said. “I am grateful to them for making this trip possible, I don’t know when I will be able to do it again.”
