An Arab terrorist stabbed and seriously wounded an Israeli woman in her 60s in the city of Kfar Saba in the center country on Tuesday, as Israel marked Yom Hazikaron, the country’s Memorial Day for the fallen IDF soldiers and victims of terrorism.
An initial inquiry shows that the terrorist stabbed the victim on the street and then was shot by security forces.
An MDA team treated the woman and evacuated her to Meir hospital in the city.
MDA medic Eliezr Habani recounted: “when we arrived on the scene, we saw a 62-year-old woman fully conscious, she was lying on the road. We did a preliminary examination and noted a number of bleeding injuries. We gave her life-saving medical treatment that included stopping the bleeding and urgently evacuated her to the hospital while continuing to report to the doctors who were waiting for us.”
The terrorist, in his 20s, is in serious condition.
Photos and footage from the scene show that the terrorist was wearing a headdress usually worn by Muslim women.
