DETAILS:

On Sunday August 8, AFIPO presents Young Soloists —a free digital showcase featuring the brightest young musicians from the Philharmonic’s internationally-renowned music education programs, Keynote and Sulamot.

Hosted by Orli Shaham and Avi Avital, this inspiring concert will provide ten extraordinary musicians with a platform to share their gifts with viewers around the world. Each Young Soloist represents the diverse communities the Philharmonic serves, including Christians, Arabs, Jews, children of immigrants, IDF soldiers, and students with disabilities.

The performances featured in the program are the culmination of years of dedication and determination, exemplifying the IPO’s mission to inspire a brighter future through music education. The IPO has launched the careers of many of the world’s foremost classical musicians—Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, and the IPO’s current Music Director Lahav Shani—and the artists of Young Soloists now seek to follow in the footsteps of these legendary artists.

The virtual event is free and will be premiered virtually on the AFIPO website.
