Two Separate Stabbing Attacks in Hebron Area Over Course of The Day

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the neck this morning and is reported to be in serious condition. Magen David Adom paramedics received emergency call at approximately 9:36 AM on Monday, October 26 reporting the incident.

Upon arrival, the victim, reportedly and IDF soldier, was reported to be in full consciousness and did not require any artificial respiratory assistance. The victim was initially treated by medics at the scene but was subsequently evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek hospital.

The IDF confirmed shortly after the incident that “a terrorist approached Beit Anun Juntion, north of Kiryat Arba, and stabbed a man in his neck. The terrorist was shot and killed.”

A spokesperson from Shaarei Tzedek hospital later confirmed that the soldier injured underwent surgery and described his situation as “serious but stable.”

Later on in the day, at approximately 2:45PM, a terrorist attempted to stab a soldier in Hebron near the Jewish Abraham Avinu neighborhood.

The terrorist was shot and killed on the spot while the soldier was left unscathed as the knife only hit his protective vest.

The IDF spokespersons unit released a statement confirming that “no military personnel had been injured.”

MDA has summarized the ongoing wave of terror by noting that 10 people have been murdered and 127 injured.

A knife-wielding female Palestinian tried to stab policemen in Hebron on Monday, October 25 shortly after 1:30 PM in Hebron, near the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

Since September 14, there have been more than 45 stabbings throughout Israel, according to IDF sources, in addition to 4 shootings and 5 car rammings. Magen David Adom reports that 127 Israelis have wounded in the latest wave of terror and 10 people have been murdered. Among the injured victims, 14 have been badly injured; 19 moderately wounded and 94 lightly injured.  A total of 65 people have been treated for trauma.
